For AHS-LA members and their guests:
We'll celebrate the new year at the lovely home of our gracious hostess, Dorothy Victor, on Martin Luther King Day, January 21, 2013, 5 to 9 pm.
Get together with Harp Society friends, talk about upcoming events, entertain each other upon Dorothy's harps, and share a potluck dinner!
Our Guest of Honor will be jazz harpist Carol Robbins, twice Grammy-nominated as a member of composer/pianist Billy Childs' group. Carol will discuss some of her concepts about harmony and improvisation and tell us what it's like to tour with a jazz group!
