AHS-LA presents a workshop COMPOSING FOR PEDAL HARP, at California State University Northridge.
(FREE admission and open to the community.)
Come and learn about this fascinating instrument, so that your music can be a part of its future!
Highly recommended for composers planning to enter our Composition Competition!
Moderated by harpist Alison Bjorkedal, panel includes harpists Allison Allport and Stephanie Bennett, and CSU composing faculty Liviu Marinescu and Ken Walicki.
Attendees are welcome to submit questions and PDFs of short musical passages (1-2 measures) in advance, to be discussed at the workshop.
