American Harp Society - Los Angeles Chapter

Music Education Auditions & Evaluations is a program sponsored by the national American Harp Society. Read more about them on the national AHS site. 

It offers students of all ages and levels (who are members of AHS-LA) a two-part masterclass experience (the last Sunday in February and the last Sunday in March).

Students perform two pieces from memory for an evaluator and receive comments.

One month later, they return to show how they have progressed on their pieces and to obtain new comments.

Participating students and their teachers must be current members of AHS-LA. 
Members of the public are welcome to attend and listen.

Grade-school, teen and adult students are all welcome to participate.

Each date will have two time slots, one starting at 1PM and another starting at 3PM. Students are encouraged to stay and hear the other performances and comments from the evaluator, for the true master class experience. 

Applications will be available in early 2017.
