Happy New Year!
AHS-LA members and their guests are cordially invited to the Los Angeles Chapter's Annual Membership Meeting and Potluck Party, Sunday, January 4th, 2015, at 4 pm, at Dorothy Victor's home in Beverly Hills.
We are delighted to feature as our guest of honor Alfredo Rolando Ortiz, internationally acclaimed master of the "arpa paraguaya" (Paraguayan harp): composer, author, educator and recording artist.
Born in Cuba, later a resident of Venezuela and then of Colombia (where he received his medical degree), Dr. Ortiz married and raised his family in the U.S. and is a long-time resident of Orange County.
