| General Membership Meeting, Launch of '17-'18 season |

AHS-LA members: please join us Sunday, September 3rd at 6pm for our Fall General Meeting.
We will be honoring the memory of composer Brad Hufft, husband of local harpist Ellie Choate. Brad was an integral part of the AHS-LA composition competitions.

In addition, Music Ed Certificates from the national AHS will be presented to students who participated in both Music Ed sessions last spring.
General meetings are a great opportunity to network, but also to bring up ideas for the chapter as well as to get involved with planning and implementing chapter activities. AHS-LA members may bring their family members, and friends who may be interested in joining.
There will also be treats!
This meeting will be hosted by our chapter president, Allison Allport. A flyer giving more information will be arriving in the mail soon. |
